Respiratory Care
Experiences in Respiratory Care

The bachelor of science with major in respiratory care is a competitive degree that includes clinical rotations in a variety of healthcare settings. The first two years of the degree (university core courses and prerequisites) are completed in San Marcos. By May of their sophomore year, students apply for admission into the fall B.S.R.C. class or cohort. For their last two years (junior and senior years), students complete the sequential curriculum on the Round Rock Campus. Through clinical rotations and the opportunity for an internship in a chosen specialization, students gain professional experience before graduation. Students have the option to participate in Education Abroad or Study in America for global and cultural enrichment. Membership in numerous campus organizations is also available for developing peer networks.
