Experiences in Human Development and Family Sciences

The human development and family sciences major will discover how to improve the lives of individuals, families, and communities across the life course and within social and cultural contexts. Students gain knowledge related to development across the lifespan, family relationships, family and cultural diversity, statistics and research methods, program administration, guidance and developmentally appropriate curriculum. Scholarships, internships, and dedicated student organizations are among the many opportunities within the program.
