Dance BA
Experiences in Dance BA

The bachelor of fine arts with major in dance performance and choreography is geared towards students who aspire to perform and/or choreograph in a professional dance setting or may pursue an advanced degree in the dance field. Higher levels of technique, choreography and composition are included. The bachelor of fine arts with major in dance and teacher certification concentration includes multiple genres of dance along with training to contextualize theory and practice in educational, professional, and community settings. All dance majors may participate in ensembles as preferred or eligible. Optional participation in study abroad, internships and membership in student organizations enhance the student experience.
