Experiences in Applied Arts and Sciences

The bachelor of applied arts and sciences prepares students for workplace success through an accelerated degree completion program offered through online and hybrid formats. The major is mainly designed for students who seek an interdisciplinary and flexible approach in completing a degree. Key experiences include a prior learning assessment that enables working professionals to earn college credit for relevant work experience, non-collegiate instruction, and test scores. Students can choose from concentrations and complete a capstone project that synthesizes their learning. In the aviation science concentration, the curriculum provides comprehensive, hands-on knowledge and skills essential to the aviation industry. Optional experiences include events or membership in student organizations, professional development opportunities, and cultural development activities.
