Experiences in Acting for Stage and Screen
The major in acting for stage and screen helps students reach their full potential as actors, preparing them to navigate and adapt to the constantly changing industry post-graduation. The program is a four-year, conservatory-style degree that provides top-notch actor training within a nationally respected university near two of the most prolific artistic hubs in central Texas. The program dedicates itself to developing students' acting craft while prioritizing their physical and mental well-being. By offering intensive conservatory-style acting classes, specialized workshops, and personalized coaching, the aim is to create a nurturing and empowering atmosphere where students can grow as actors and as individuals. Optional participation in study abroad, internships and membership in student organizations are also part of the student experience.
